The Academy

We are looking at expanding The Academy to a weekly Homework and Tutor Program for 2016-17.  Stay tuned for more information to come.

The Academy

The Academy is an academic intervention opportunity for students who need extra help getting work organized, finished and submitted to their teachers. The Academy is usually held on Friday Afternoons for three weeks each quarter following the six week progress reporting period.  The permission letter lists dates for the entire school year and only needs to be completed once for the school year.  Please check for News updates in case of a last minute change of date or time however.  All sessions will be held in the school library from 3:30 to 5:00 PM.

Learning how to be academically successful is extremely important at this stage, just prior to high school.  Good study habits are essential for your son or daughter's future.  Our goal at The Academy is to augment organization and study skills and through that process, improve student achievement. To obtain late credit in classes students must remain for the entire session.  Students should check with their individual teachers to see what credit they will grant through attendance at The Academy.

The Permission Slip may be found in the Student Life Locker below and/or the Guidance Locker.
